UEA CU is busy and active with lots of things to get involved in and invite your friends to. One of our aims is to create a positive culture and environment for people to enjoy the company of Christians!
Main meetings
Every Tuesday night at 7.30 we meet for worship, teaching, sharing, encouraging and prayer. This is usually the main 'team time' during the week, and for the majority of the term we meet in Congregation Hall 01.19.
If you're not sure where this is, get in contact with a committee member, or on the Facebook page.
Prayer meeting
Prayer in the Square on Tuesdays at 8.30 Ð meet and pray before starting the day. We also do prayer walks around the lake after some CU meetings.
Action Groups
Meeting together in smaller groups at weekday lunch times (1-2pm) to study God's word, pray and talk together. Putting God's word into action in our lives. James 2v14.
CU Football
Boys usually train on Wednesday afternoons in Eaton park, but contact us for more information - particularly Nick Jones who is part of the CU football team.
World Cafe
Fridays, 7.30 - 10.00pm at Holy Trinity Church off Unthank Road. Starting from Friday 26th September this is a great opportunity to meet and make friends with international students from around the world who are studying at the UEA.
Outreach events
We also run regular events which enable guests to come and hear something of Christianity explained and explored in a friendly, welcoming environment where they can also ask their questions.
Some of these events include lunch bars, acoustic evenings, and sports quizzes. We also run courses for people who want to explore further, including open house and Christianity explored.
Other events to look out for during the term are the cocktail party, houseparty, and the carol service.
Look out for the mumerous events we're organising as part of Freshers' Week...!
